The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the University of Lorestan Martyrs Park was held with the presence of the Director General of Passive Defense of Lorestan Governorate, coinciding with the Fajr Decade.

Concurrently with the auspicious days of the Fajr Decade, with the presence of Amin Goodarzi, Director General of Passive Defense of Lorestan Governorate, Dr. Ali Nazari, President of Lorestan University, and the university's vice presidents, the project to create the Martyrs' Park of Lorestan University commenced with the planting of saplings.
According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this project was launched on Wednesday, February 7th, in the area around the guest house of the central site of Lorestan University, with the aim of ultimately planting pomegranate trees and creating a green space and beautification covering an area of two thousand square meters.
This action is also in line with the implementation of the programs of the Green Management Steering Council of Lorestan University, whose secretary is Dr. Mehdi Soleimani-Motlagh.
During the inauguration ceremony of the construction of the Martyrs' Park of Lorestan University, the Director General of Passive Defense of Lorestan Governorate and the President of Lorestan University, in brief speeches, emphasized the importance of expanding green spaces, tree planting, and improving the indicators of green management at the university.
Furthermore, Dr. Mehdi Soleimani-Motlagh, Secretary of the Green Management Steering Council of Lorestan University, presented a report on this project, according to which approximately 90 saplings of pomegranate species will be planted, and in addition, the environment will be beautified in the form of a park, landscaping, paving, and green space creation, so that both in terms of perspective and in terms of attention to the concept of "Green University," current actions will be expanded and upgraded.
