The Low-Water Medicinal Plant Cultivation Development Project at Lorestan University will be inaugurated and implemented.
According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, Dr. Mehdi Soleimani-Motlagh, the head of the Green Management Department at Lorestan University, told our reporter: "The low-water medicinal plant cultivation development project, focusing on saffron cultivation, will be implemented at Lorestan University."
Dr. Soleimani-Motlagh elaborated: "This project will be inaugurated on Sunday, October 16th, at 8:30 AM, next to the Innovation Center of the central campus of Lorestan University."
Dr. Soleimani-Motlagh invited faculty members and students interested in the topics of cultivation and development of medicinal plants to participate in the inauguration ceremony of this project.
The head of the Green Management Department at Lorestan University explained: "The implementation of this project is in line with the optimal water conservation conditions; in addition, this project, in addition to expanding the cultivation space of plants, will have economic benefits and revenue generation for Lorestan University."
Dr. Mehdi Soleimani-Motlagh stated: "This project will be implemented in the form of a saffron cultivation and development farm at Lorestan University."
He added: "In the field of green management and economics, one of the important points is that the cultivation should be in accordance with the provincial agricultural conditions, and the development of saffron cultivation is in this direction."
Dr. Soleimani-Motlagh announced: "This project will be implemented on the central campus of Lorestan University as well as at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of this university."
