Planting Saplings in Commemoration of Natural Resources Week

On the occasion of commemorating Arbor Day and Natural Resources Week, the tree planting ceremony was held in a part of the campus of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources of Lorestan University, with the presence of the President of Lorestan University, the General Director of Natural Resources of Lorestan Province, faculty members, scientific assistants, and students of Lorestan University.

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, this ceremony was held on Sunday morning, March 5th, in a part of the campus of the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Natural Resources of Lorestan University.

Dr. Ali Nazari, President of Lorestan University, Dr. Hossein Mirzaei, General Director of Natural Resources and Watershed Management of Lorestan Province, faculty members, scientific assistants, and students of Lorestan University participated in this program.

This program was implemented in order to strengthen the culture of natural resources and the environment.

The Student Scientific Association of Forestry of Lorestan University, the Green Management of Lorestan University, and the Student Cultural Center for the Environment of Lorestan University, in cooperation with each other, organized this ceremony.

Also, one day before, with the participation of faculty members, scientific assistants, and students, part of the central site of Lorestan University was cleaned of waste, and a number of saplings were planted in the native species park of Lorestan University.

March 6th is Arbor Day and the beginning of Natural Resources Week.
