The Saffron Farm of Lorestan University's Central Site was inaugurated.

With the presence of Dr. Mohammad Alizadeh, Vice President for Support and Development of Lorestan University, a five-thousand-square-meter saffron cultivation farm was inaugurated at the central site of Lorestan University.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, on Sunday morning, October 16th, with the presence of Dr. Mohammad Alizadeh, Vice President for Support and Development of Lorestan University, Dr. Mehdi Soleimani Motlagh, Head of the Green Management Department of Lorestan University, Dr. Hossein Hatami, Director of Research Affairs of the University, Hassan Salehi, Director of Cultural and Social Support and some other managers, the five-thousand-square-meter saffron cultivation farm was inaugurated in line with green management and economics, cultivation of low-water crops, and increasing the university's revenue.

The implementer of this project, Asadi, in his speech, explained the characteristics of saffron.

Dr. Mohammad Alizadeh, Vice President for Support and Development of Lorestan University, explained in his speech that the cultivation of low-water agricultural products and medicinal plants is in line with the relative advantages of the agricultural sector and the agricultural economy of Lorestan province, which can also generate revenue for the university.

Dr. Alizadeh considered the implementation of such actions and programs in line with the green management and economics of Lorestan University.

It is worth mentioning that the saffron farm is located next to the Innovation Center of the central site of Lorestan University.
