Visit of the President of Lorestan University and the General Director of Natural Resources of Lorestan from some lands of Khorramabad with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation

The President of Lorestan University and the General Director of Natural Resources and Watershed Management of Lorestan Province visited some natural resource lands around the city of Khorramabad.

According to the Public Relations Department of Lorestan University, on Tuesday afternoon, April 18th, Dr. Ali Nazari, President of Lorestan University, Hossein Mirzaei, General Director of Natural Resources and Watershed Management of Lorestan Province, Dr. Ali-Heydar Nasrollahi, Head of the Faculty of Agriculture of Lorestan University, Dr. Mehdi Soleimani-Motlagh, Head of the Green Management Department of Lorestan University, and the accompanying delegation visited some natural resource lands around the city of Khorramabad.

This visit was aimed at strengthening cooperation between Lorestan University and the General Directorate of Natural Resources of Lorestan Province.

The initial proposed plan is to allocate a portion of these lands to Lorestan University so that, in accordance with the capacities of the Faculties of Agriculture and Natural Resources, scientific agriculture and horticulture can be carried out, and revenue can also be generated for Lorestan University.

For example, planting and cultivating medicinal plants is among the initial proposed plans.

Also, some nurseries were visited so that Lorestan University could participate in the creation and scientific and knowledge-based cultivation of nurseries.

Both sides expressed hope that bilateral scientific, research, applied, and knowledge-based collaborations would expand.
